Snickers Hungerlings Attack
One of my favorite candy bars has an ongoing online contest called Snickers Hungerlings Attack. The game requires you to kill the hungerling in you by eating Snickers dropping from the sky. There are 2 games you can play. The Augmented Reality (AR) game and Keyboard game. You need to get the fastest time for 2 weeks in either of the games to Win gadgets like Sony Playstations, Netbooks, and G Shock Watches. Personally, I find the Keyboard game much more easier to play. The AR game lags a bit.

SugarSync FREE File Backup
Remember the post I wrote about FREE Online Backup and Storage using Dropbox? Well if you maxed out the allowable 10GB referral limit of Dropbox, here's a very good alternative. Introducing SugarSync, a backup service that allows you to store and access your files across the web, other computers and mobile devices. It has almost all the functionality that Dropbox has. The reason I brought SugarSync into the picture is because they are offering a 5GB storage for a FREE account compared to Dropbox's 2GB. But the best part is that SugarSync don't have a LIMIT of bonus space you can earn for referrals you make. You see for Dropbox, each successful referral gives you and your referral an extra 250MB space each on top of your accounts. Problem is, you may only refer until you reach the referral limit of 10GB. On the other hand, for SugarSync, there's no maximum referral limit which allows you to earn an unlimited number of referrals or storage. Unfortunately, the unlimited referral is only a promotion which ends on May 31, 2011. So if you want to maximize your storage space for FREE, I suggest you get working on your SugarSync referral like I am doing now. Philippine Art Awards 2011
The Philippine Art Awards (PAA) visual arts competition has officially started. The PAA is one of the biggest art competitions that offers huge cash prizes for outstanding artworks. This is the first time the competition will accept multi-dimensional artworks besides paintings as it had expanded the entry categories in its last regional competition in 2009. PAA will award 40 winners from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and Metro Manila (10 winners each) all of whom will receive P40,000. Back when I was a college student, I had the luxury to drive a car to school. I was happy because it was very convenient for me to go to school and go home as I pleased (not that I cut classes that often). However the most economical and environmental way was to commute since, most often than not, I was driving by myself. That option didn't make me that happy though especially at times when I found myself counting the number LRT and MRT trains pass me by because I couldn't get in due to how cramped up all the trains were. Then finally, I discovered the option of carpooling with my friends and schoolmates through the University Carpool System (UCS) of my school.
