Flores de Mayo Photo Contest '11
Calling all photography hobbyists and enthusiasts to join the Flores de Mayo sa MOA 2011 Photo Contest happening on May 1, 2011 at SM Mall of Asia! Mix fashion and passion for photography in this traditional catholic procession that aims to showcase majestic gowns and beautiful sagalas. Join the contest and Win CASH prizes of P50K, P25K, and P15K respectively. There's also a special prize by MOA of a Lenovo Netbook Ideapad. Buy P500 worth of Unilever products from any SM Supermarket, Hypermarket and Save More to participate.
Contest Requirements:
- Open to all photographers residing in the Philippines and a Filipino citizen aged 18 and above
- Receipt purchase any Unilever products (Creamsilk, Dove Men, Axe, Clear for Men, Ponds, Rexona, Surf, Close Up etc.) worth P500 from any SM Supermarket, Hypermarket and Save More. Receipts must be dated within April 15 to May 8, 2011.
- Theme: "Filipina, Busilak sa Ganda." Capture the essence of the long time Filipino tradition that showcases majestic gowns and beautiful sagalas.
- Go to the Flores de Mayo sa SM MOA 2011 held on May 1, 2011, Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall and photograph the participants
- Entry Guidelines
- Any type of camera allowed
- JPEG format less than 1MB and at least 1024 pixels in its longest side. Contest web servers will not accept entries larger than 1MB and will be automatically disqualified.
- Digital enhancements will only be limited to cropping, rotating, white balance, brightness and contrast, saturation and sharpening
- File resolution of at least 6 megapixels (to be submitted on final judging)
- Submit your entries via email to photo@moafloresdemayo.com with the JPEG picture and a scanned copy of your receipt (less than 500KB in size)
- JPEG picture must use the following file format: LastName_FirstName_EntryTitle.jpg
- Include your full name, entry title, age, address, telephone number, mobile number and secondary email address.
- Judging Criteria
- 50% Theme Relevance - Photos must reflect the contest theme, "Filipina, Busilak sa Ganda"
- 50% Composition - Photos must create visual impact

- Multiple entries allowed but you need a separate receipt for each entry. You can only win once. If you win more than once, you will automatically get the higher prize
