One of my favorite candy bars has an ongoing online contest called Snickers Hungerlings Attack. The game requires you to kill the hungerling in you by eating Snickers dropping from the sky. There are 2 games you can play. The Augmented Reality (AR) game and Keyboard game. You need to get the fastest time for 2 weeks in either of the games to Win gadgets like Sony Playstations, Netbooks, and G Shock Watches. Personally, I find the Keyboard game much more easier to play. The AR game lags a bit.

Contest Requirements:
  • Open to Philippine citizens ages 18 and above
Contest Mechanics:
  1. Log on to snickersgame.com and play Augmented Reality game and/or Keyboard game
  2. Register on the game by entering your personal details
  3. In the Augmented Reality (AR) game, you need to print the Augmented Reality marker from www.snickersgame.com and place marker in front of the webcam. Choose from a list of hungerlings and eat as many Snickers chocolate bars as possible by moving your head. The game will automatically mirror all your left and right actions.
  4. As for the Keyboard game, you simply need to either upload your photo or choose from a list of hungerlings. Eat as many Snickers chocolate bars as possible by using the arrow keys and spacebar (to jump) on key board
  5. Players with the best time for both games wins the weekly prizes
  6. You can only win one prize in either games

  • Phase 3: May 1 - 15, 2011
