Sun.Star Cebu Video Contest
Maayong adlaw sa tanan nga mga Cebuano! Wherever you are, your daily source of regional news calls you to join Sun.Star Cebu Video Contest. Capture different ways of getting Sun.Star news by making an original video based on the theme, "Your mornings with Sun.Star". Upload your entries on their FB contest page or send it via email. You can submit as many entries as you like. Encourage your friends to "like" your entry for more chances of winning. The top three (3) selections will be published in the Sun.Star Cebu Yearbook issue of 2013 and included in a portable storage device to be included in the Yearbook plus cash prizes of US$500 (Gold award), US$300 (Silver award) and US$200 (Bronze award) respectively.
Contest Requirements:
- Open to Cebuanos inside and outside the country
- Log on to and like Sun.Star Cebu Yearbook Video Contest Facebook page
- Video Theme: "Your mornings with Sun.Star"
- Entry Guidelines
- Use your video camera, high-resolution camera phone or digital device to take video or still photos that you can transform into a video
- Should be original. Use of music is allowed
- Must be three (3) minutes or less
- Should be an AVI, WMV or MPEG format
- Submission Guidelines
- Upload your entry/ies on Sun.Star Cebu Yearbook Video Contest Facebook page
- If uploaded on YouTube, copy and paste the link of your music video on the body of an e-mail with the subject line "Your mornings with Sun.Star". State your name and current address (If residing outside Cebu or abroad, include your hometown address in Cebu) in the message then send to video@sunstar.com.ph
- Post the YouTube link on Sun.Star Cebu Yearbook Video Contest Facebook page
- Judging Criteria
- 40% Originality and creativity
- 30% Adherence to theme
- 30% Overall appeal (includes number of Facebook "likes")
- Invite others to "like" your entry/ies
- You can submit as many entries as you can

Contest Prize:
