Giordano Design Contest
Looks like Giordano is having a T-shirt Design contest. Come up with a design illustrating the theme - “20 years of Giordano Philippines” adapted to men’s or women’s style or unisex orientation. The Grand prize winner walks away with a Trip to Hong Kong for Two plus P25,000 pocket money. 4 Consolation prize winners get P10,000 EACH and 15 Minor prize winners get P5,000 EACH.
Contest Requirements:
- Giordano Graphic Tee Contest is open to all Filipino men and women age 18 and above
- Theme: “20 years of Giordano Philippines” adapted to men’s or women’s style or unisex orientation
- Download and fill-up the waiver form
- Entry Guidelines
- Designs must be done in electronic format either by Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Freehand format
- Modifications on the supplied logo shall deem the entry invalid
- 2 Colored Print Outs of the design
- 1 CD containing a soft copy of the design (psd, ai, freehand)
- 1 Photocopy of a valid ID with signature, and birthday
- One entry per participant
- Submit your designs inside one short brown envelope and send via
- any Giordano store nationwide
- or snail mail entries to Giordano Marketing Dept. 170 F. Blumentritt corner Gen. San Luis, Brgy. Tibagan, San Juan
- Judging Criteria
- 50% Originality
- 25% Creativity/Execution
- 25% Relevance to theme

- Announcement of Winners: January 15, 2010
- Exhibit: January 15 to January 31, 2010
- 1 Grand Prize winners - Trip to Hong Kong for Two plus P25,000 pocket money (A round trip economy class plane ticket and two-night hotel accommodation)
- 4 Consolation Prize winners - P10,000 EACH
- 15 Minor Prizes winners - P5,000 EACH
Upside:
- No entry fee
- Submission of entries can be sent through mall outlets and snail mail
- CASH Prizes
- Giordano will shoulder 20% Tax for prizes exceeding P 10,000.00

I believe this is a downside, since, I think, this clause applies to all the submitted entries regardless of whether you won or not.
