The 83rd Academy Awards is just around the bend. To celebrate this momentous awards night, Fully Booked will hold a Pre-Oscar Film Fest at Bonifacio High Street branch. They have a 62-seater theater they call the U-View that is situated at the Basement level. Four classic films from the past that garnered an Oscar award will be shown today until February 28, 2011. The tuna sashimi were separating for some strange reason. Now I eat sushi a lot and I don't usually see sashimi that doesn't stay intact.

Finally the long awaited ramen arrived!
Chasyu Ramen - P195
The Chasyu (roast pork) ramen I ordered was just right. It had plenty of pork slices, noodles were firm and chewey and soup was superb as well. The Chasyu had a soy sauce based (shoyu) soup.
RaiRaiKen has 3 types of soup base - Salt (Shio), Soy Sauce (Shoyu) and Soy Bean (Miso). Each of their ramen incorporates one type of sauce that best suites and enhances the flavor of the ramen ingredients.
I also go to try Mel's Beek Yakiniku ramen which also used the shoyu sauce. The soup and flavor was quite distinct even if it used the same soup base.

Pyromusical 2011 Closeup

The number of prizes will depend on the number of participants that will be joining the contest so make sure you share this with your friends. Prizes include Sony electronic gadgets, camera and TV.
Contest Requirements:
- Citizens or legal residents of The Philippines or Malaysia
- Participants below 18 years old as of the start of the contest period must seek consent from their parent or legal guardian
- Twice a week, a password will appear on the AXN Beyond Channel
- Look out for hints on the AXN Beyond official Facebook page for exact timings of password appearance
- Get your cameras ready and take a photo of yourself with a TV set displaying the password of the day in the background
- Upload the photo on AXN Beyond official Facebook page. The uploaded photograph must have the password as the caption.
- Email AXN Beyond at contact_us@axnbeyond.my with the URL to the photo. Make sure to include your name, contact number and address
