MADE National Competition 2011
Metrobank Art and Design Excellence (MADE) National Competition is a yearly contest that aims to recognize young painters, sculptors and architects that excels in their field of art and design. Entries can now be submitted for the 2011 MADE competition. Those who produce outstanding works in their crafts will take home huge CASH prizes ranging from P150,000 - P200,000 as well as be featured in various public viewing and art exhibits.
Contest Requirements:
- Open to Filipino painters and sculptors 18 to 35 years old (18 years old as of May 6, 2011 and still 35 years old as of September 15, 2011)
- Sculptors must have not held a solo exhibit until September 15, 2011
- Open to Filipino licensed architects and interior designers 25 to 45 years old (25 years old as of May 24, 2011 and still 50 years old as of September 15, 2011)
- Categories
- Oil-Based Medium on Canvas
- Should not be smaller than 18 x 24 inches and should not exceed 36 x 48 inches, exclusive of frame
- Not more than 8 Kilos
- No signature on painting
- Frame, including the matting should not exceed 5 inches
- Water Media on Paper
- Should not be smaller than 18 x 24 inches and should not exceed 36 x 48 inches, exclusive of frame
- Not more than 8 Kilos
- No signature on painting
- Frame, including the matting should not exceed 5 inches
- Sculpture
- Should not be smaller than 12 x 12 inches and should not exceed 16 x 16 inches
- Must not exceed 40 kilos in weight and a volumetric size of 4,096 inches, excluding base
- Base size should not exceed 2 inches in width
- Open theme
- May consist of one or a combination of materials - resin, fiberglass, glass, metal, wood, stone (concrete), or fired clay (terracotta or stoneware)
- Architecture
- House should be completed and occupied for at least one year upon submission of entry
- Take photos of your artwork or design and submit it along with the required documents

- FOR NCR & PROVINCIAL ENTRIES (documents) to be submitted at Metrobank Foundation office on or before May 6-7, 2011
