The Philippine Council for Industry and Energy Research and Development (PCIERD) and the Philippine Council for Advanced Science and Technology Research and Development (PCASTRD) is merging to be the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD). In line with this, they launched the PCIEERD Logo Design Contest. They want the design of the new logo to be patterned to their existing logos which looks quite ugly by the way. One winner will be awarded P50,000 tax FREE.

Contest Requirements:
  • Open to all Filipino citizens, individuals or groups
Contest Mechanics:
  1. Design a logo symbolizing Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development's (PCIEERD) functions as an agency in charge of the development of policies, plans and programs and implementation of strategies in the areas of advanced science, industry and energy sectors in the country
  2. Entry Guidelines
    • Entries must be original and accompanied with a brief description relevant to the areas of concern of PCIEERD
    • Tagline should be included. (e.g. “Innovations within reach”)
    • Design should be patterned after the PCIERD and PCASTRD logo maintaining the four circles while modifying the center to depict the function of the new agency,PCIEERD
    • Graphic file should be in best quality of jpeg format
  3. Submit entries with your name/s, mailing address, contact details and a scanned copy of ID with picture via email to pcierd@dost.gov.ph
  4. An acknowledgment message will be sent to you
  5. Judging Criteria
    • 30% Interpretation and Relevance to PCIEERD
    • 40% Overall Visual Impact
    • 30% Originality and Creativity
