Water is Life Photo Contest 09'
Water is Life Photo Contest 09' is back for the second time around. Since last year's theme is about raising public awareness on various water-related issues, this year, the theme would be about the causes and impacts of climate change on water resources. CASH prizes will be awarded to the top 3 photos as well as the 3 winners of the peoples' choice award category.
Contest Requirements:
- Professional and amateur photographers
- Philippine residents (or those who established residency in any part of the Philippines for at least six continuous months as of January 1, 2009) regardless of citizenship
- 18 years old and above
- Theme: Negative impact of climate change on the country's water resources such as
- Agriculture and Aquaculture
- Water Supply
- People’s Habitat
- Health and Sanitation
- Photo Guidelines
- Printed on 8” x 12” photo paper with no borders
- Electronic files or film negatives of the images with 12” x 18” size
- No identifying marks like watermarks, etc.
- Color or black and white
- Minor alterations for color, contrast, etc. allowed
- Taken within the Philippines from January 1, 2009 to September 30, 2009
