The search for fresh filmmakers that have unique approaches to filmmaking is on with Microcinema Festival Contest. Submit your 180 seconds (3 mins) original films and you might get a shot at winning some pretty hefty CASH prizes as well as a chance to pitch your film to Regal Entertainment, Inc. and Roadrunner Films. Choose from the any or all of the 3 categories: Narrative, Experimental, Documentary. Who knows, you might just be the next Brillante Mendoza to bag another Cannes

Contest Mechanics:

1. Categories
• Narrative - communicate a story through an inventive, imaginative fusion of form and content.
  
• Experimental - unconventional, idiosyncratic, and forward thinking approaches to Cinema as an evolving Art form.
  
• Documentary - factually accurate concerning the portrayal of people, places, and events.

3. Adhere to the Video Guidelines
• No more than 180 seconds in length
• Compressed in H.264 (less than 200MB)
4. Fax your complete entry forms to (632) 638‐2739 or scan and e‐mail them to submissions@180cinema.net
5. Send FDCP a link to the uploaded compressed file via Sendspace, Yousendit, or other large file‐sending sites to submissions@180cinema.net
