Mera Peak is another peak open for enthusiastic climbers who are looking for thrill beyond everyone’s cup of tea. This 6476 meter / 21247 ft mountain is not an easy mountain to climb. With a lot of crevasse at times and with knee deep snow, Mera Peak is absolutely an amazing mountain to conquer.

Shivalaya to Everest base camp is the most orthodox trek to base camp and the one taken by the first people to summit the Everest base camp. The trail starts from Jiri but since the roadways have already connected Kathmandu to Shivalaya we avoid walking on the dusty offroad track. Nevertheless, we also have the option of starting the trek from Jiri itself.

You will begin this once in lifetime trek from Lukla and then head towards the base camp of Everest. Make your way through the most beautiful Sherpa villages and experience their culture. You will make your way through suspension bridges and share the trail with the yaks. Furthermore, you trek beyond clouds, through the prayer flags draped rocks and hills. You will pay homages in the monasteries and make your way to the base camp of the highest mountain in the world. This is not just a trek but it is a journey, a journey of enlightenment, happiness, fear, achievement and what not.
