Power Mac Center Cinemansanas Digital Short Film Competition
Power Mac Center, in cooperation with Adobo Design Awards Asia 2016, is calling all aspiring and professional artists who have a passion for digital storytelling to join the Cinemansanas Digital Short Film Competition. Find your angle and be the digital storyteller you were meant to be. There's no entry fee for both Student and Professional Category. However, for Professionals who want to be included in the Adobo Design Awards Asia 2016, you must pay a P500 entry fee. Using only your iPhone or iPad, release your creativity by creating a 5-10 minute digital short that runs on the theme "Designing for a Bold New World". Download the entry form online and submit it along with the required documents and your artwort at any participating branches of Power Mac Center. The winner in the Professional Category will receive P50,000 worth of Power Mac Center gift cards while P30,000 gift cards await the winner in the Student Category. The Runner-ups will also get Power Mac GCs + products.
Contest Requirements:
- Two (2) Categories
- Student Category - Open to all officially-enrolled High School and College students, local residents
- Professional Category - Open to all professional local residents

- Student - FREE
- Professional - P500 (inclusive of 12% VAT). Note: You may opt not to pay the entry fee, but your work will not be eligible as official entry for Adobo Design Awards 2016. However, it will still be eligible for the Power Mac Center Pixelworx Awards

- Entry Guidelines
- Must be in digital format
- Short film must run a minimum time of five (5) minutes and a maximum of ten (10) minutes including credit titles
- Entries must include a 15-second trailer of the short film
- Before your film begins, you should have:
- Two (2) seconds of black
- A title card with: your team name, date, city, title, and genre
- A title card with: "This film is made for Power Mac Center Pixelworx"
- A title card with: "Shot using an iOS device"
- Two (2) seconds of black
- Execution may be in the form of documentary or a narrative fiction and the like as long as it was taken using your iPad or iPhone. You must indicate which iOS device (e.g. iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad Pro, iPhone 6s Plus), apps (e.g. Magisto, Pinnacle Studio, etc.) and enhancements were used (e.g. Locophoto Lenses, Sony tripod for iphone, etc.)
- Dialogue can be in Filipino, English, or any language. English subtitles will have to be provided for entries not in Filipino or English
- All content and materials used in the film must be original. No stock photo/footage will be allowed. If you include any copyrighted content, you must be able to provide written permission for its use
- Entries shouldn't have been featured in other festivals and competitions
- Entries should be made from January 2015 to March 2016
- Submission Guidelines
- Submit the duly accomplished application form with a list of the main and supporting roles, production, technical and creative teams
- For students, provide a copy of the members' Certificate of Enrollment for SY 2015-2016
- All file names must be labeled as: last name [underscore] first name [dot] file extension type (.mp4). Note: File name should have no spaces, additional punctuation or special characters
- Example: DelaCruz_Juan.mp4
- Three (3) copies should be submitted (DVD or USB Flash Drive)
- Note: These will not be returned. Each DVD or USB Flash Drive should include the short film entry, the 15-second trailer and all raw files that were taken using your iOS devices
- The DVD or USB Flash Drive must be labeled. It must contain the following information:
- Entry Title
- Director's Name
- Enclose all requirements in a brown envelope, properly labeled with the following details:

- You must agree to the reproduction of your artwork for the purpose of art advocacy
- The decision of the Board of Jurors is final and irrevocable
