Robinsons Las Pinas New Restaurants - Win a Movie Date with Snacks

Robinsons Place Las Pinas is right along Alabang-Zapote Road. You can't miss it. Good news for those bringing a car. Parking is FREE!
I like the mall layout. Plenty of natural light coming in and high ceilings. Looks spacious. A lot of the restaurants are located al fresco area. It drizzled before I arrived so the floor was a little slippery but it was properly covered so crossing from one side to the other is not a problem.
The food court was quite spacious with the standard food court choices alongside fast food restaurants.
Here are a few of the unique restaurants. Most have a branch only in Robinsons Las Pinas. You have Ritchie's Diner, Viet Nam deli cafe, The Urban Farm, Resty's Roast Beef just to name a few.
I got to first try Famous Coney Island situated a few steps from the movie theater. Although not a full restaurant, it serves awesome meals you could eat at the round tables beside the counter or you can also have it delivered inside the cinema.
Here is their menu. Their hotdogs are 100% all meat and are crafted just for them. The buns they use are fresh from French Baker so you know the quality is good.
The Coney Dog is the best seller. For P100 solo or P170 combo, you get a fresh hotdog topped with chili, sliced cheese, nacho cheese, and honey mustard. Very satisfying for both taste buds and tummy.
Craving for McDo twister fries? You don't need to wait for December because Coney Island got Curley Fries for P90 large, P120 family, P160 Party. It's flavored and fried perfectly. Order the larger sizes if you are a big group.
Flush everything down with a cold cup of Chocolate Cyclone Milkshake at P100.
I highly recommend you to try the Corndog for P75. It's freshly made as you order. The batter is superb. So good I gobbled it instantly. Will definitely order again.
Next stop, Taco's Island. Have you been to Boracay? If so, have you seen or tried Taco's Island near Station 1? Well good news to all of you who have and haven't tried because this is the first Manila branch of Taco's Island.
Don't let the simple menu deceive you. The food is tasty and unique at a good price.
All the tacos and nachos are made with flour instead of corn. Interestingly it's not as heavy as eating corn based taco or nacho and the crispiness is much better.
For P190, get to enjoy the Island Beef Taco Platter. 2 hard flour tortillas, ground beef, picodigallo, lettuce & mozzarella cheese, served with mexican rice, refried beans, sour cream and sweet corn. The ratio of beef, cheese and vegetables are just right. You can split between 2 people if you only want a light snack.
For something more on the heavy side, get the Beef Burrito Island for P200. 2 hard flour tortillas, stuffed with your choice of meat topped with mexican sauce and cheddar cheese served with mexican rice, refried beans, sour cream and sweet corn. I also got to try the shrimp which cost P20 more.
Chicken Tostadas Island at P190. 2 hard circle flour tortillas topped with lettuce, mozzarella cheese, sour cream & picodigallo served with mexican rice, refried beans, sour cream and sweet corn.
The Nachos de Boracay is divine for P140. It's filled with beef, cheese mozzarella, and salsa. All dishes are served with unlimited dips.
You must try the oregano onion dip. I never tried anything like it until now. Suits perfectly for all dishes
Down for some dessert? Head over to Kat's for some coffee and sweets. Look at how nice they hid their toilet using sliding books shelves.
They have cute cakes great for any celebration. For smaller parties of 1 or 2, get a cupcake.
