2015 J-pop Anime Sing & Dance
Are you ready for the 2015 J-pop Anime Sing & Dance Contest? In cooperation with The Japan Foundation, Manila and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), the Embassy of Japan is calling all amateur singers and dancers of all ages for this once in a lifetime opportunity to showcase your talent and in return, get a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Japan! You may perform solo with a musical instrument, with a minus one accompaniment or a group acapella of not more than 5 members in the Singing Category while you can enter by forming a group consisting of five (5) members in the Dancing Category. If you think you have the talent, then download the application form online and submit all the requirements personally, via mail or courier to the Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC). The Top Ten (10) finalists for the Singing Category and Top Five (5) for the Dancing Category will compete in the Grand Finals. Sing your way to the top and receive exciting prizes aside from the Grand prize.
Contest Requirements:
- Two (2) Categories:
- Singing
- Solo performers, bands, choirs, beatbox performers, acapella groups or acoustic groups of five (5) members
- Note: Previous winners can join but it must be in a different set-up from your previous performance
- Dancing
- Group of five (5) members
- Log on to ph.emb-japan.go.jp and download the application form
- Entry Guidelines
- Singing
- Filled-up registration form
- A demo CD containing an audio file in MP3 format
- A print-out of the song lyrics with the name the original performing artist/s
- Photo/Group Photo
- A short write-up about your group (50-100 words)
- You must perform using songs by Japanese artists. Songs translated from English to Japanese are not allowed
- Only original music will be allowed
- Dancing
- Filled-up registration form
- A demo CD containing a video file in MPEG format
- A print-out of the song lyrics with the name of the original performing artist/s
- Photo/Group Photo
- A short write-up about your dance group (50-100 words)
- You must perform using songs by Japanese artists. Songs translated from English to Japanese are not allowed
- Only original music will be allowed
- You may choose any J-pop or anime song for your performance
- Submit your entries personally, via mail or courier to
- The Top Ten (10) finalists for the Singing Category and Top Five (5) for the Dancing Category will compete in the Grand Finals
- You are allowed to join only one (1) category
- Submission of entries via e-mail or youtube links will not be accepted
- The JICC reserves the right to extend the deadline for the submission of entries
- All submitted application forms, photos, CD or DVDs will not be returned
