If you are passionate about soccer and photography, then why not combine the best of both worlds with Soccergraphy Photo Contest. Make an artistic interpretation of football in everyday life through a photograph and upload it online. Two winners (1 professional and 1 amateur category) will get to go to South Africa to watch the FIFA 2010 World Cup final and a will receive a Sony Alpha DSLR camera package each.



Contest Requirements:
  • Open to both professional and amateur photographers
  • Entrants must be 18 years of age and above
Contest Mechanics:
  1. Log on to soccergraphy.sony-asia.com and register for an account to be able to submit photos
  2. Photo Guidelines
    • Digital format ONLY and must be taken with a digital camera
    • JPG or JPEG file format (ex. YourImage.jpg or YourImage.jpeg)
    • At least 1,280 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,280 pixels tall (if a vertical image)
    • Total file size must be less than 500K in size
    • Photo must retain EXIF data (data from your camera that is embedded in your image)
    • Photographs must have been taken within two years of the date of entry
    • Minor burning, dodging, and color correction are acceptable. Hand tinting is acceptable, as is cropping. Fish-eye lenses are acceptable. High dynamic range images (HDRI) and stitched panoramas are acceptable only if the combined parts are all made around the same time
  3. Write a caption describing your photograph
  4. No confirmation if image is uploaded
