The 180 Microcinema is once again celebrating the diversity of Filipino film makers around the globe. The submission for Microcinema Festival for 2012 is now ongoing so prepare your 180-second narrative film striving on communicating a story through an inventive, imaginative fusion of form and content. Easily submit your entries online for a chance to win $30,000 USD production funds to collaborate on 180-second films as pitches for a Transmedia Development Deal, receive significant exposure to international film industry leaders, plus attend the awards ceremony at the Powerplant Cinema of the Rockwell Center. Contest Requirement:
  • Open to Filipino film makers worldwide, at least 18 years of age
Contest Mechanics:
  1. Log on to The Online 180 Second Film Festival website
  2. Make Narrative film which strives in communicating a story through an inventive, imaginative fusion of form and content
  3. Entry Guidelines
    • 180 seconds in length, maximum of 3 minutes
    • Should be in saved in any of the following digital media files:.mov, .wmv, .avi, .flv, .mpg (mpeg or mpeg2)
    • You must have permission to use copyrighted work, trademarks, or logos owned by others (Public Domain works are ok)
    • Must have permission from all people, establishments, and services appearing in your film
    • Do not endorse companies or commercial content
    • Non-english films must be provided with subtitles
    • You must have permission from all people, establishments, and services appearing in your film
    • Do not be libelous or misrepresent other people, groups, or companies
