Express Your Art Photo Contest
Not only does Thunderbird Resorts Philippines just create extraordinary experiences for their guests but also for all the professional and amateur photographers. In their ongoing "Express Your Art Photo Contest 3", the company is generously giving away a total of P250,000 in cash. With the theme "Fiestas", simply submit a photo you personally took on any local fiestas/festivals you have attended. You can pass three (3) entries in each given round, meaning the greater chances of winning. Hurry! You still have a few more months to go, so visit and capture your best fiesta experience.
Contest Requirements:
- Open to all professional and amateur photographers, eighteen (18) years old and above
- Local residents including foreigners residing inside the country, provided that they present their Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) I-Card.
- Log on to Thurderbird Resorts Philippines' website and download the registration form
- Theme: "Fiestas". This includes any major and minor holiday as well as any religious and/or local festivities held within the contest period
- Entry guidelines
- 8” x 12” photo print of your entry at 300 dpi or greater SRGB
- CD copy of your photo with file extension .jpg or .tiff
- Photo should have an accurate reflection of the contest theme, no alterations except standard optimization (dust removal, cropping, color adjustments, etc.)
- Should be free of borders, watermarks, trademarks or any other markings
- Your entry must have a copy of the registration form attached at the back, with the title and details such as name of the Fiesta/Festival, date the photo was taken (this will be checked on the metadata information detail), and the place where it was shot
- Must not have been submitted and will not be submitted in any other contests, both local and international

- The photo contest shall have two (2) qualifying rounds in which you You may submit a maximum of three (3) entries per round (total of six entries)
- One (1) photo is equivalent to one (1) entry.
- You may combine several contest entries in one legal size brown envelope

- First Half
- July 8, 2011- Deadline of submission for photos taken from March 1 to July 8, 2011
- July 11, 2011, 10:00 AM - Screening of all entries. Twenty-five (25) finalists will be selected based on the criteria
- July 24, 2011- All first half finalists shall be announced via thunderbird-asia.com
- Second Half
- December 9, 2011 - Deadline of submission for photos taken from July 9 to December 9, 2011
- December 12, 2011 10:00 AM - Screening of all entries. Another set of twenty-five (25) finalists will be selected based on the criteria
- December 16, 2011 - Second half-finalists will be announced via thunderbird-asia.com
- December 20, 2011, 3:00 PM - Determination of grand prize winners
- December 23, 2011 - Announcement of winners
- January 28, 2012 - Awarding of prizes
- Grand Prize - P250,000
- Consolation Prize - 49 finalists will receive P5,000 EACH
