Speak out and sparkle change because it's time for Colgate's Fresh U! Be one of the catalysts to make a difference in your community. Simply form a group of college undergrad students with six (6) members the most. Create a plan that will answer the question, "With P50,000, what can you do to make a difference in your community?". Stand up for what you believe in and start sharing your ideas, dreams and opinions to benefit the public. Shortlisted finalists will be uploaded in Colgate Fresh U's Facebook fanpage for online voting. Six (6) group winners will each receive P50,000 to help them implement the project.









Contest Requirements:

  • Open to all currently enrolled undergraduate college students
Contest Mechanics:

  1. Visit the Fresh U Facebook Fan Page
  2. Form a group with a maximum of six (6) members then identify who will represent your group and specify the members
  3. Create a project plan that answers the following: "With P50,000, what can you do to make a difference in your community?"
  4. Project/Entry Guidelines
    • Project must benefit the local community near the applicants’ home university
    • Project pictures and description should capture the idea of the project
    • Must be fully implemented within 6 months of grant awarding, using only the P50,000 to be given by Colgate-Palmolive
  5. Submission Guidelines
    • Completed Fresh U Project application form
    • Uploaded valid IDs of participants
    • Uploaded project picture with description
  6. Judging Criteria
    • 40% Impact on community
    • 30% Social Relevance
    • 30% Uniqueness of Idea
  7. Only one (1) submission per group
  8. Twelve (12) project applications will be shortlisted as finalists which will then be uploaded to the fanpage
  9. In the voting process, each Fresh U Facebook fanpage member will only be allowed 1 vote per day

Contest Period: July 1 – September 15, 2011

  • Key dates
    • October 15, 2011- Announcement of shortlisted
    • October 16 – October 31, 2011 - Online voting of twelve (12) shortlisted applications
    • November 2011 - Announcement of six grand winners
    • November 2011 – April 2012 - Project implementation period
Contest Prize:

  • Six (6) student groups will EACH receive P50,000 cash
