Pambansang Muziklaban 2011
Calling all amateur bands, the stage is yours to take! On its 13th year, the Pambansang Muziklaban is giving you a chance to express yourselves in Pinoy rock. If you have a band, download the form in RHB's website to get started. Record a clear demo tape or CD/Video containing one (1) of your original composition, one (1) Red Horse Beer song composition, and one (1) cover song from local or foreign artists. Together with the other requirements submit your entries through Facebook or Youtube. Manually submit via drop boxes your song lyrics enclosed with ten (10) crowns of any kind of Red Horse Beer 2011 per band member. Qualifying bands will compete in the elimination rounds in their designated region. If you win, you move on to the semi-finals and if you get really lucky, you might rock it on the grand finals. Prizes at stake are P500,000 cash, P300,000 worth of music video/album sponsorship, and band performances and 2012 RHB endorsement contract worth P200,000. Laban ka? Sali na!
Contest Requirements:
- Amateur bands whose members are all aged 18-34 by September 15, 2011, male or female, with no recording/distribution deals with any major recording label
- Amateur bands whose members are or were never part of any professional musical outfits
- Amateur bands whose members are or were never finalists of musical events and/or contests of any direct competitor of San Miguel Brewery, Inc.
- Amateur bands whose recorded materials have never been aired on a regular basis on national radio
- Amateur bands who have previously joined Muziklaban but have never qualified for the grand finals for the past five (5) years
- Ten (10) crowns of any kind of Red Horse Beer 2011 per band member

- Entry Guidelines
- Clearly recorded demo tape or CD/Video containing the following:
- One (1) original composition
- One (1) Red Horse Beer song composition
- One (1) cover song from local or foreign artists
- Total time should not exceed 15 minutes
- Pictures of the band performing
- Ten (10) crowns of any kind of Red Horse Beer 2011 per band member
- There will be a unique code provided upon submission of the entry form

- Upload a clearly recorded video of the above-mentioned requirements
- Each material must not exceed 100MB
- Pictures of the band must be uploaded on the RHB Muziklaban contestants photo album, labeled according to band name, unique code, members' names and URL of posted video
- Lyrics of the band's original & Red Horse Beer song compositions must be typewritten and submitted manually*
- Enclose the lyrics plus ten (10) crowns of any kind of Red Horse Beer 2011 per band member
- Seal and indicate on the envelope the band name and unique code
- Through Youtube.com
- Upload a clearly recorded video with the above-mentioned requirements on the Red Horse Beer Muziklaban Wall
- Each material must not exceed 2Gig
- Share your uploaded videos in the Red Horse Beer Muziklaban Facebook fanpage
- Lyrics of the band's original & Red Horse Beer song compositions must be typewritten and submitted manually*
- Enclose the lyrics plus ten (10) crowns of any kind of Red Horse Beer 2011 per band member
- Seal and indicate on the envelope the band name and unique code
- *You can manually submit your entries via drop boxes located in San Miguel Brewery, Inc. Sales Offices and Event Circut Offices

- Demo CDs/Videos of eligible bands will be screened per area to qualify for the elimination round
- Qualifying bands will compete in the elimination rounds in their designated region.The top bands from each elimination round will move on to compete in the Semi-Finals. Winner will be declared as the Area Champion and will compete during the Grand Finals in January 2012
