Yamaha Song Making Contest
Yamaha is calling all amateur and professional singers and groups to join their latest song making contest. This is to give others the chance to be recognized in their sonata in pop and rock genres. Song theme should be about lifestyle and revolves around Yamaha's corporate slogan, "Make It Different". Tunes and lyrics must be your original composition with length running from 3-4 minutes only. Record and upload your entry in Youtube and don't forget to share the link on the official Facebook contest page to be qualified. Contest prize is at a whopping P100,000 CASH
Contest Requirements:
- All amateur and professional singers and groups, with members 18 years old and above
- Should not be affiliated or have no existing contract with a record agency
- Like the official song making contest page on Facebook
- Theme: should be about lifestyle and revolves around Yamaha's corporate slogan, "Make It Different"
- Entry Guidelines
- Length of the song must be about 3-4 minutes, and not more than 5 minutes
- Tune and lyrics must be original
- Pop and Rock are the only genres allowed
- Song should be recorded and uploaded in YOUTUBE, and the link shared on the official Facebook contest page of Yamaha
- Judging Criteria
- 30% Lyrics / Relevance to the theme
- 20% Melody / Musicality
- 20% Originality
- 15% Recall
- 5% Audience response
