Giordano Philippines is calling graphic artists to join their Giordano Typography Tee Design Contest. Create a Statement Tee or a Typographic Tee or a combination of both that revolves around the theme “World Without Strangers.” 8 semi-finalists will Win P10,000 CASH plus P5,000 worth GCs while the top 7 finalists will win P25,000 CASH plus P5,000 worth GCs. The winning designs also gets a chance to be included in Giordano's upcoming collection



Contest Requirements:
  • Open to all Filipino men and women age 15 and above
Contest Mechanics:
  1. Theme: “World Without Strangers”
  2. Entry Guidelines:
    • Must adapt to men’ s or women’s style or unisex orientation
    • Designs
      should strictly be a Statement Tee or a Typographic Tee or a combination
      of both
    • Body colour of the shirt may vary but the design itself
      should be limited to a maximum of 5 colors
    • Either Adobe Photoshop, EPS, or Macromedia Freehand format
  3. Download and sign waiver
  4. Place waiver along with the design in one short brown envelope at any Giordano store nationwide or mail to
    • Giordano Marketing Dept. 170 F. Blumentritt corner Gen. San Luis, Brgy. Tibagan, San Juan City
  5. Entries must contain:
    • 2 Colored Print Outs of the design
    • 1 cd containing a soft copy of the design (psd, ai, freehand)
    • 1 Photocopy of a valid ID with signature and birthday
    • Signed waiver
  6. Judging Criteria for top 15 finalist selection
    • 50% Originality
    • 25% Creativity/Execution
    • 25% Relevance to theme
  7. Judging Criteria for top 7 winners
    • 40% Originality
    • 25% Creativity/Execution
    • 25% Relevance to theme
    • 10% Facebook Popularity (the most likes)
  8. Submit up to a maximum of three (3) designs ONLY

Contest Period: March 21 - June 30, 2011 9PM

Contest Prize:
  • 7 Major prizes for the top seven finalists - P25,000 CASH plus P5,000 worth of Gift Certificates
  • 8 Consolation Prizes for the semi-finalists - P10,000 CASH plus P5,000 worth Gift Certificates
Upside:
  • No entry fee
  • Multiple submission allowed
  • "T.F.B Incorporated/Giordano Philippines shall shoulder the 20% Tax for prizes exceeding P10,000"
Downside:
  • No online submission
