It's purple season again which only means the second installment of the Yahoo Yahoo Purple Hunt 2.0 is here. This time around, they changed some rules to the game. On the first stage, you have to go to the Purple Hunt website and open 7 purple boxes which will only be opened by keywords found by performing various tasks both online and offline. You will only proceed to the next box once you have opened the box prior. Once all 7 boxes have been completed, you are now eligible to join the On-Ground Hunt event where you will have to again complete a set of tasks within a time period. All those who completed the tasks will be randomly drawn as the 20 finalists. From there, whoever has lady luck on his/her side will drive home a Purple Hyundai i10 Automatic. All those who joined the first stage will also get to gadgets and goodies from the sponsors.




Promo Requirements:

• Active Yahoo! account (Register for FREE on yahoo.com.ph)

Promo Mechanics:

1. Register for the Yahoo! Purple Hunt 2.0 at http://www.yahoopurplehunt2.com.ph
2. The goal is to open all boxes. You need to open Box # 1 before you can open the rest of the boxes.
3. Box #1. Add the Box!
1. Open your Yahoo! Messenger and add "PurpleHuntMaster" to your friend list. (Download and install Yahoo! Messenger for FREE or just use the web version to avoid install)
   
2. PurpleHuntMaster will automatically add you upon request.
   
3. The PurpleHuntMaster will give you instruction on how to open the box or what to do next. In case you missed the directions, you need to type in "help" keyword to get the URL which will contain your unique keyword.
4. Once the you get the keyword, go to http://www.yahoopurplehunt2.com.ph and input it in the Yahoo Messenger Purple Box #1.
   
5. You will automatically be notified if you have won a prize
4. Box #2. Magic Minute (Magic 89.9)
1. Tune in to Magic 89.9 FM and wait for the DJ to play the Yahoo Yodel to get the special keyword
2. Once the you get the keyword, go to http://www.yahoopurplehunt2.com.ph and input it in the Yahoo Messenger Purple Box #2.
   
3. You will automatically be notified if you have won a prize
4. You may only win once, if you were able to get a prize from the 1st box you will no longer win in the other boxes.
5. Box #3. Purple Goods (Hyundai)
1. Take a photo of yourself with any Hyundai Car.
   
• Make sure that the car can be easily identified as a Hyundai brand
  
• Plate number must be blurred or deleted for security and privacy purposes
2. Upload photo in the YahooPurpleHunt2.0 official Flickr page and tag it with "YahooPurpleHunt2"
   
3. Format for the file name as follows: last name_first name_middle initial_email address. Maximum file size 800x600 pixels
   
4. After uploading the photo, look for the Purple Hyundai car in the Yahoo Purple Hunt Flickr gallery where the keyword is placed. HINT!
5. Once the you get the keyword, go to http://www.yahoopurplehunt2.com.ph and input it in the Yahoo Messenger Purple Box #3.
   
6. For 5 weeks, 7 winners will be awarded Hyundai Premium Items based on the following criteria

• 30% Impact and Creativity: Bold, striking, and adventurous pose
• 20% Composition, clarity and technical quality

• For Non-Smart Bro Postpaid subscribers, you will be asked to fill up the online form with your details: Full Name, Email Address, Mobile Number. Once submitted, you will get the keyword.
• For Smart Bro Postpaid subscribers, you will be asked to go to www.smart.com.ph/connect and update your information: Full Name, Email Address, Mobile Number. Once submitted, you will get the keyword.
2. Once the you get the keyword, go to http://www.yahoopurplehunt2.com.ph and input it in the Yahoo Messenger Purple Box #5.

1. Search for a video online thru the Yahoo Search. The video will reveal the final keyword and the venue of the Grand Event.
2. Once the you get the keyword, go to http://www.yahoopurplehunt2.com.ph and input it in the Yahoo Messenger Purple Box #7.
   
3. You are now eligible to participate in the Grand Raffle
   
10. A total of 20 Finalists will be chosen
    
• Three (3) finalists for VizMin + Luzon region will be pre-drawn on April 12, 5 days before culmination event to allow them to travel to Manila
  
• 17 GMA finalists will be drawn from the pool of GMA qualifiers that have attend and completed the On-Ground Hunt event.
11. All 20 finalists (GMA, LUZON and VIZMIN) will be called onstage to select boxes that will determine elimination or participation. In the end, only 2 individuals will remain with a key in hand. One of which will open the brand new car.

Upside:
