The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) in partnership with different city governments recently launched Sineng Pambansa, a campaign to reinvigorate Filipino audience and aspiring film makers by showcasing FREE Filipino Independent Films all over the Philippines. Its first stop will be in Iloilo. Nine films consisting of: Bakal Boys, The Red Shoes, Emir, Sigwa, Kano, Halaw, Himpapawid, Sampaguita, Lola, Yanggaw, and Happy Land will be shown from January 19 - 21, 2011 at SM Iloilo. The FREE Filipino Independent Film showing will soon be shown at Zamboanga, Baguio and Quezon City.
