Star Movies Movie Marathon
If you got the stamina to complete all the film festivals that ran these past few months, then you should probably start watching Star Movies as well. Star Movies gives you a chance to participate in the Star Movies Movie Marathon contest. All you have to do is catch the movie marathon brand bug of a popcorn sitting on a chair (image below) and email the movie, time and date it was shown. 100 people will be randomly chosen to participate in the Star Movies Movie Marathon at the Resorts World Manila. The last one in the theater will conquer the movie event and win P100,000.
Contest Requirements:
- Open to all residents of the Philippines
- From September 24 until November 5, watch Star Movies on you TV cable and watch out for the movie marathon brand bug of a popcorn tub sitting on a theatre seat
- The movie marathon bug will appear once per movie 12 times a day. You only need to identify one movie where the marathon bug appeared
- Send your answers to entertainment.marketing@ph.startv.com with the following details

- Time:
- You may send one or more entries but can win a weekly prize only ONCE for the duration of the promo period.
- A total of 20 lucky participants per week (total of 100 participants) will be chosen to participate in the Star Movies Movie Marathon at the Resorts World Manila
- Draws will be held weekly. Winners will be determined via electronic raffle at Fox International Channels Office.
- After every draw, winners shall be contacted via phone by a STAR MOVIES representative to conduct an initial verification process.
- Prize must be claimed at the FOX INTERNATIONAL CHANNELS OFFICE located at Unit 2903B West Tower, Philippine Stock Exchange, Exchange Road Pasig.
- Winners must present the following when claiming prizes:
- 1 valid ID (School ID, Company ID, Government issued ID)
- For provincial winners, a photocopy of the valid IDs must be emailed or Faxed at the Fox International Channels Office.
- In cases where the weekly winner cannot personally claim the prize, he/she may send a representative on her behalf. The representative should present the following:
- Letter of Authorization signed by the winner
- 2 original, official valid ID’s of the winner
- 2 original, official valid ID’s of the representative
