Yogurt Nation @ Fort Bonifacio

New restaurant and bars are sprouting all over Bonifacio Global city. One place bloggers got invited to check out is Yogurt Nation. It's a fairly new yogurt place that gives you a chance to pick and serve your own FroYo (frozen yogurt) and toppings. Just above Yogurt Nation sits The Lounge bar where you can chill out and relax the night away.

Self-service FroYo establishments isn't a new concept. It has been already done by 2 or 3 yogurt places this year (or maybe last year, I'm not so sure). It's probably gaining popularity because one, it's fun for the customers and two, it's tempting for customers to fill up the cups to the brim which is good for business.

Now the very first thing you will see when you enter Yogurt Nation are the FroYo dispensers on your left. When we were invited a few weeks back, there were 6 flavors in total: Original, Cranberry, Strawberry, Mango, Melon and Ube. As for the toppings, there were around 20 assortment of fruits, candies, cereal and nuts.

If you are a bit confused on how all of this plays out, you just need to read the step-by-step guide hanging above the cashier counter.

In case you can't figure out what flavor to choose, you can grab one of those little cups beside the regular sized cups and pour yourself a bite sized serving.

I chose to get the regular sized 4 oz cup. I first put in Melon and Ube as the first layer then, Strawberry and Mango as the second layer. To top it off, I scooped my favorite canned fruits - peaches and whole lychee and sprinkled some almonds.

At 6.9 oz, my total bill was P159 (P23 per oz)

All the FroYo tasted very nice. Not too sweet and not too sour. They got the FroYo and flavor right on the button. I must say however that I favor the ube most. But if you are looking for an explosion of flavors then try mixing everything together. The Froyo and toppings blends together so well, at least that's what I can say for my concoction.

Going back to the space of Frozen Yogurt, the place can be a bit crowded as you can see in the picture below. There are a few seats outside and on the 1st floor. So if you are planning on hanging out, you may go up the 2nd floor where there are more tables and chairs.

The 2nd floor is actually an extension of The Lounge Bar on the 3rd floor. So it's the Yogurt Nation on the 1st floor, dining area in the 2nd floor and The Lounge Bar on the 3rd floor. The owner said they have alcoholic drinks that have FroYo. Too bad I didn't get to try it. Maybe next time

Most of their dishes are appetizers, pasta, sandwiches and some meals. We got to sample some of the food they were serving.

Price range of pasta P160-P190
