Independence Day FREE Rides
MRT and Eveready celebrates Independence Day this June 12 by offering commuters FREE rides. From 7AM - 9AM and 5PM - 7PM, you may ride on any of the 13 MRT stations absolutely FREE (LRT has yet to announce if it will follow suit but do stay tuned to this post for more details). For those taking the Jeep, Eveready offers Libreng Sakay for commuters in Luzon and Visayas. There will be 20 commissioned jeepneys providing the FREE service. This is part of Eveready's 110 years anniversary celebration! Refer to the spreadsheet on this post for the specific jeepney routes of the Libreng Sakay promo. In relation to this, Makati will also be offering all students in the city FREE rides on June 15 as classes open.
