Here's a thought, did Real Leaf just violate BFAD/DTI by doing this contest? If my memory serves me correct, you need to have a DTI or BFAD permit for contests which requires the purchase of a product.
Contest Requirements:
- Bottle of Real Leaf Green Tea
- Must be a Nuffnang member to enter the Nuffnang Blog contest
- Take a photo of anybody with a bottle of Real Leaf Green Tea. You can use a dSLR, point-and-shoot, webcam, cameraphone or just any photo capable device
- Upload the photo to any of your favorite photo-sharing site (Flickr, Photobucket, TwitPic, PicasaWeb, etc), your blog or social networking accounts (Facebook, Multiply, Friendster)
- Write a short description of your photo (story behind the photo)
- Leave the link of your entry on the contest post of all of the 5 blogs holding the contest
