To further promote the culture of life among Filipino youth, Pro-Life have organized 2 contests. A photo contest with the theme “BUHAY MO, MAHAL KO” and a list contest where students have to come up with a list of activities, ways, means, or interventions that promote the pro-life cause. Winners for both contests gets to take home CASH prizes. "Live life to the fullest!"

Contest Requirements:
  • Photo Contest
    • Open to all Filipino High school and college students as well as amateur and professional photographers
  • List Contest
    • Open to Filipino elementary and high school students only.
Contest Mechanics:
  • Photo Contest
    1. Theme: “BUHAY MO, MAHAL KO.”
    2. Photo Guidelines
      • Printed in full color or black and white on any brand of photo paper in 8R size (8 inches x 10 inches)
      • Must have been taken during the competition period, and should not have won nor have been published in any book or photography magazine
      • Digital or film-based camera including camera phones
      • Manually retouched and/or painted over print outputs are not allowed
      • Creative effects done within the camera at the time of exposure e.g. multiple exposures, flash fill, lighting, filtration, etc. are allowed.
      • Digital retouching on density, contrast adjustments, minor cropping, burning, and dodging may be tolerated, although major manipulation of main images through adding or subtracting are not allowed
    3. Each entry should be submitted in a short brown envelope labeled at the back with PRO-LIFE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION. Upon submission, contestants must log-in in the contestant’s logbook found in the secretariat.
    4. Your name should not appear on the face of the entry
    5. Entries should be submitted to Ellen Sanchez at

  • List Contest
    1. Come up with a list of activities, ways, means, or interventions that promote the pro-life cause
    2. The activities, ways, means, or interventions to be provided in the list can be as simple as a household chore or can be as complex as writing position letters to higher officials (refer to pamphlets, brochures, and articles of www.prolife.org.ph)
    3. List should be typewritten (font size 12, double spaced per item in the list)
    4. The entry with the most number of pro-life activities, ways, means, or interventions is the winner
    5. Entries can be submitted via email or snail mail
      • Email - indicate your name, age, school and contact numbers and send to life@prolife.org.ph
      • Office - Submit to Ellen Sanchez at Pro-Life Philippines Foundation Office located at San Lorenzo Ruiz Student Catholic Center, 2486 Legarda St., Sampaloc, Manila (near Legarda Station of the LRT Line 2)

    • Entry with Longest list wins P3,000
Upside:
