SpideRider Talent Contest
So you think you got a talent worthy to be praised upon? Then join SpideRider, Singapore’s first online global talent competition that is open to all participants from around the globe. So if you are looking for your big break at online stardom, this is your chance! Showcase your talent to the whole world and be discovered by the movers-and-shakers of the entertainment industry. The star who outshines the rest will take home a whopping US$10,000 in cash and prizes and will get a chance to be signed under the SpideRider artist management for a contract worth US$50,000 over three years! Boy-Kuripot will most definitely promote fellow Kababayans who plan to join this spectacular contest.
Contest Requirements:
- Open to all, regardless of Nationality, Race, Age or Gender
- Contestants that are 16 years old and below during time of submission and uploading of entries must seek the consent of their respective parents and/or guardians.

STAGE 1
- 18 Jan 2010: Top 50 contestants unveiled online
- These 50 contestants have 5 days starting on the 18 Jan 2010 to upload a new competition clip
- 25 – 29 Jan 2010: Voting opens for 5 days to eliminate 20 contestants from the 50. Voters have these 5 days to vote their favourite idols into the next round
- 29 Jan 2010: Voting officially closes at 2359hrs Singapore time
- Top 30 contestants unveiled on the 1 Feb 2010.
STAGE 2
- 1 Feb 2010: Top 30 contestants unveiled online
- These 30 contestants have 5 days starting on the 1 Feb 2010 to upload a new competition clip
- 8 – 12 Feb 2010: Voting opens for 5 days to eliminate 10 contestants from the 30. Voters have these 5 days to vote their favourite idols into the next round
- 12 Feb 2010: Voting officially closes at 2359hrs Singapore time
- Top 20 contestants unveiled on the 15 Feb 2010.
STAGE 3
- 15 Feb 2010: Top 20 contestants unveiled online
- These 20 contestants have 5 days starting on the 15 Feb 2010 to upload a new competition clip
- 22 – 26 Feb 2010: Voting opens for 5 days to eliminate 8 contestants from the 20. Voters have these 5 days to vote their favourite idols into the next round

- 3 – 7 May 2010: Voting opens for 5 days to eliminate 1 contestant from the 3. Voters have these 5 days to vote their favourite idols into the next round

- Top 2 contestants unveiled on the 10 May 2010.
STAGE 9
- 10 May 2010: Top 2 contestants unveiled online
- These 2 contestants have 5 days starting on the 10 May 2010 to upload a new competition clip
- 17 – 28 May 2010: Voting opens for 12 days to eliminate 1 contestant from the 2 and choose the winning SpideRider. Voters have these 12 days to vote their winning idol
- 28 May 2010: Voting officially closes at 2359hrs Singapore time
- Winner of SpideRider unveiled on the 31 May 2010.
- Grand Prize Winner
- US$10,000 in cash and prizes
- A chance to meet the movers-and-shakers of the entertainment industry for a possible opportunity to sign with a major label.
- A chance to be signed under the SpideRider artist management for a contract worth US$50,000 over three years.
- Winner from outside Singapore wins additional return airfare and an all-expense paid trip to Singapore for a Meet the Press session and possibly a mini concert showcase.
- Winner from Singapore wins an additional overseas trip worth US$1,000
