Planning to buy a new Eee PC? Well if you are, don't miss the chance to join the Eee PC My Life Blog Contest. Blog your way to winning a Cruise for 4 on board the Super Star Virgo, a ASUS U20 Laptop or a ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1008HA netbook. You need to have purchased an ASUS Eee PC within July 1 - September 30, 2009 to be eligible.


Contest Requirements:

• ASUS Eee PC owners from July 1 - September 30, 2009
  

Contest Mechanics:

1. Log on to www.myeeepcmylife.com.ph to register
2. One (1) ASUS EeePC owner can only use one (1) serial number for verification thus one (1) entry for the contest will be one (1) verified serial number
3. Fill out your contact details and serial number
   
4. Blog Guidelines
• Written either in proper English and/ or Filipino with correct grammar. Taglish phrases are accepted providing with minimal use
• Minimum of one hundred (100) words/ characters (no maximum)
5. Judges will be invited to choose the top 3 best blogs entries
6. Judging Criteria
   
   • 35% Experience Value - day-to-day experiences with EeePC
   • 30% Consistency
     
   • 25% Creativity - Imaginative and entertaining writing skills which captures attention and leaves a deep impression on its readers
   • 10% Impressions - Number of times blog entries have been viewed on the site www.myeeepcmylife.com.ph.
7. In case of a tie, the three (3) judges will be given authority to re-evaluate blog entries

Contest Period: July 1 - September 30, 2009

Contest Prize:

• 1st Prize - one (1) winner of a FIVE(5) Nights Cruise for FOUR(4) on board Super Star Virgo includes:
  • Up to 6 meals a day in the inclusive restaurants Bella Vista (Western), Pavilion Room (Chinese), Mediterranean Buffet (International) - (Beverages like - soft drinks/juices/wines/liquors etc. not included)
  • Luxurious accommodation
  • World Class Entertainment
  • Use of Recreational and Gym Facilities
  • Children Facilities
  • Roundtrip Airport Transfers
  • Tours, transfers and entrance fees as specified in the itinerary
  • Validity of trip prize will be within 6 months from date of claiming.
• 2nd Prize - one (1) winner will receive one (1) unit ASUS U20 Laptop
• 3rd Prize - one (1) winner will receive one (1) unit ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1008HA netbook

Upside:

• "A minimum of FOURTEEN (14) and maximum of NINETY-TWO (92) blogs must be submitted" within the contest period (The rules did not state that the contest will be canceled if there are less than 14 entries)

Downside:

• Winners shall shoulder the 20% withholding tax of prizes
• You need to have purchased an Eee PC to join
