Take your jewelry making hobby or business to the next level by joining in Diez Mill Fashion Jewelry Contest. There will be one winner of P10,000 CASH every month until December 2009. Although there are NO ENTRY FEE, submission of entries is at Cebu. You might want to start looking for a cheap and reliable courier if you are planning to join



Contest Requirements:

• 18 years and above, male or female
  

Contest Mechanics:

1. Email info@cebufame.com.ph to get an Application Form
   
2. Participants will create Components using new materials and/or techniques. The components must have a hole for stranding or attachment.
3. Sealed and labeled entries shall be submitted to:
• Costume Jewelry Center DOST Compound, Sudlon, Lahug Cebu City 6000
4. Submit before 30th/31st of every month to be able to join the contest for that month.
   
5. Participants may send as many entries as possible. Group entries are acceptable.
6. Participants may join as many monthly competitions as possible
7. Judging Criteria:
• CREATIVITY (40%) – the ability to put imagination into existence out of innovation and creativity. It is also the ability to create something out of new materials or to process common materials differently
• VISUAL IMPACT (30%) – the manner how the entry affects the viewer or the overall impression of the entry as a whole.
• QUALITY (30%) – the durability and craftsmanship of the entry and the attention to details.
8. Decisions of the panel of judges shall be final
9. Winners for every month will be contacted and informed by Cebu FAME and will be posted on the Cebu Jeweler’s Cooperative Hall. Winners will be officially informed by telephone call and via Registered Mail

Contest Period: March 9 – December 11, 2009

Contest Prize:

• One monthly winner of P10,000 and a Certificate which will be awarded monthly on the first Saturday of the month at the Cebu Jeweler’s Coop

Upside:

• No application fee is required to join the contest
• Prizes are tax-free and paid for in cash by Cebu FAME.
• Multiple submissions allowed
  

Downside:

• "All entry samples both winning and non-winning, shall be the property of Cebu Fame and of which Cebu Fame holds the right to use the samples for trade promotions, such as but not limited to BIJOUX Cebu or any other trade exhibitions. All entries, as intellectual properties of the contestants, shall be protected within the Code of Ethics of Cebu FAME"
• Entries need to be submitted/mailed at Cebu
