If you are into editing videos then this contest might just be for you. Join in NESCAFE 3in1 Flicks: The Return of the Mix. And you might just Win one of 2 Apple Macbooks or one of 3 iPod Nanos! Even if you aren't a video editor expert, you can still participate in the BASIC category. All the tools you need for editing is already in NESCAFÉ 3in1 Flicks website. And if referring people is your thing, you could also Win a iPod Nano by getting the most referrals.


Contest Requirements:
  • Registered and validated (via email) NESCAFÉ 3in1 Flicks 2 account
  • Philippine residents and nationals (must be both) aged 16 years old and above.
Contest Mechanics:
  1. Go to the NESCAFÉ 3in1 Flicks: The Return of the Mix website
  2. Register on the website by filling up all required fields
  3. Click the verification link on the automatic email that will be sent to you
  4. After successfully registering, you can join in two categories BASIC and the ADVANCED
  5. BASIC
    1. Basic entries are flicks using only video and audio clips from the Feature Flicks found in the NESCAFÉ 3in1 Flicks website and the NESCAFÉ 3in1 Flicks JayCut Group. No external/personal video or audio materials may be used
    2. Click on the ADD MOVIE poster on the home page.
    3. Click on the REMIX button to go to the NESCAFÉ 3in1 Flicks JayCut page.
    4. Register or log on to the JayCut website. Join the NESCAFÉ 3in1 Flicks Group. Just visit the group page and click the JOIN GROUP button.
    5. Use the JayCut editing tool to make your own 90-second* BASIC Flick by mixing and matching our Feature Flicks. Just click the CREATE MIX button on the Flicks Group Page.
    6. Submit your BASIC Flick on the NESCAFÉ 3in1 Flicks website. First, PUBLISH your flick on JayCut then copy the LINK/URL of your video.
    7. In the Flicks website, click on the ADD MOVIE poster. Paste the LINK/URL of your video when submitting and click on the SUBMIT button to send your entry.
  6. ADVANCED
    1. Advanced entries are all flicks that use any amount of video and/or audio materials from external/personal sources
    2. Click on the ADD MOVIE poster on the home page.
    3. Click on the DOWNLOAD link to get copies of the NESCAFÉ 3in1 Flicks pre-made Feature Flicks and Soundtracks, if you wish to use them.
    4. Create your own 2-minute* ADVANCED Flick by mixing the pre-made clips with your own video and audio files. Or make a flick using ONLY your own video and audio files!
    5. Submit your ADVANCED Flick on the NESCAFÉ 3in1 Flicks website. First, upload your flick on any video site of your choice, like YouTube (www.youtube.com) or JayCut (www.jaycut.com). Then copy the LINK/URL of your flick.
    6. In the Flicks website, click on the ADD MOVIE poster. Paste the LINK/URL of your flick when submitting and click on the SUBMIT button to send your entry.
  7. BEST MOVIE POSTER
    1. When SUBMITTING your film, you will also be given the option to upload your own Movie Poster Design or choose from the existing Movie Poster Design templates.
    2. Create your own Movie Poster on your computer and upload it during the SUBMIT process.
  8. All flicks must contain the following:
    • A scene with a NESCAFÉ 3in1 carton, stick and/or sachet
    • A scene where the talent(s) drink(s) NESCAFÉ 3in1 from a RED MUG
    • At least three (3) different talents
  9. There is no limit to the number of flicks a user can submit.
  10. Judging Criterias
    • BASIC & ADVANCED CATEGORIES
      • 35% - Connection to the theme: “How NESCAFÉ 3in1 enhances barkada moments.”
      • 30% - Creativity and Originality
      • 20% - Impact
      • 15% - Mixing of Different Film Genres (e.g. Action + Drama + Musical)
    • BEST ACTOR/ACTRESS (ADVANCED)
      • Portrayal of Role – 40%
      • Consistency - 20%
      • Impact - 40%
    • BEST MOVIE POSTER
      • Creativity – 40%
      • Originality – 30%
      • Composition – 30%
    • Most Original / Most Intense / Sweetest Film (BASIC and ADVANCED)
      • Winners will be determined by the amount of VOTES that the submitted films will receive from website visitors.

Contest Period: November 26 - February 15, 2008 Extended to March 15
