Do you have a Choir Group that kicks ass? Then your group should try and join 88DB.com's Online Chorale Competition. PhP 70,000 worth of Cash prizes are at stake. Did that grab your attention? To join, simply register your choir for FREE and upload your music video. Start stretching those vocal cords!




Contest Requirements:

• Amateur Choir groups
• Composed of at least 15 to a maximum 30 members
• Residing within Luzon
• NO recording contract
• NO studio album released commercially

Contest Mechanics:

1. Register online with your:
   
• Group name
• Contact information (cell phone or landline number)
• A short write up about the group and its members
• At least one embedded video of the group’s performance. (Embed videos from YouTube, Dailymotion or Megavideo.)
• At least 3 pictures of the group
2. Create an ad profile of your choir in the 88DB.com website under the Music category under Choral Fest sub-category
3. Upload a video of your choir's performance of any preferred song (not necessarily a Christmas song) into your created ad profile in order to qualify your entry. Voter's will based their votes on the uploaded videos
4. Criteria for judging:
• Musicality (musical arrangement, rhythm and harmony) – 40%
• Creative Interpretation (costume, choreography)– 25%
• Voice projection – 25%
• Audience Impact – 10%

Contest Periods:

• Registration period: Sept. 1 to October 14, 2008
• Voting period: October 15 to November 30, 2008
• Finals Night: December 4, 2008 at Megamall Atrium
  

Contest Prize:

• 1st Place - cash prize worth P30,000
• 2nd Place - P20,000
  
• 3rd Place - P15,000.
• Special Voters’ Choice award - P5,000 will be given to the choir group with the most number of votes
