6th Jollibee Family Values Awards
The quest for the next set of exemplary Filipino families is still on in the 6th Jollibee Family Values Awards. Recognize by nominating deserving clans who best exemplify positive Filipino family values such as generosity, compassion, creativity, resourcefulness, strong ties, and love for the community & the environment. First, fill out the nomination form available online, thru download or at any Jollibee branch nationwide. Choose which category they belong to: Outstanding Families in the Philippines (Nationwide) or Special Global Pinoy Family Of The Year Award (including OFWs-Land & Seafarers). You can nominate more than one family and you can even vote for your own. Five (5) Filipino families will receive P300,000 cash, Michael Cacnio Trophy, P10,000 Jollibee GCs and special prizes. One (1) OFW family will take home the same mentioned prizes plus P5,000 Jollibee Padala voucher. Aside from the six (6) winning families, another five (5) families will be selected to receive Special Citation Awards amounting to P50,000, a Plaque of Recognition and P10,000 Jollibee GCs.
Contest Requirements:
- Outstanding Families in the Philippines (Nationwide)
- Open to all local families whose members are all of good moral standing and with no criminal record
- Special Global Pinoy Family Of The Year Award (including OFWs-Land & Seafarers)
- Open to families of Filipino heritage (natural-born Filipino, holds foreign citizenship and of Filipino descent) who are currently abroad, and/or have immediate family member/s who are working/residing abroad (i.e. mother, father, sibling)
- Must be at least 6 months resident in another country
- All family members should be of good moral standing and with no criminal record
- Nominated families should have at least one child
- Family should have an advocacy that family members actively participate in and should benefit community/ies in the Philippines and/or in a foreign country where one of the members or the entire family is residing in
- Note: Families who previously joined the JFVA may still be nominated. However, the five (5) families who will no longer be eligible to join
- Log on to jollibee.com.ph and accomplish an online nomination form. You may also download the nomination/entry form or get it at any Jollibee branch nationwide
- Completely fill out the nomination form and answer the questionnaire that establish the nominees' suitability and eligibility. You may use extra sheets of paper if needed

- Judging Criteria:
- 35% Relevance of advocacy in addressing pressing needs (impact on their community or beneficiaries)
- 25% Sustainability of their efforts (long-term)
- 15% Magnitude of the contribution of the family’s advocacy to the community or institution – (large scale or benefitting just a few/measure of a number of beneficiaries; one area (own community) only or includes neighboring communities/cities; examples are advocacies for education, environment, and benefitting specific stakeholders: children, PWDs, and minority groups)
- 15% Degree of involvement and participation of family members in the advocacy (are they the lead proponents/ how involved are the family members?)
- 10% Ability to surpass challenges and special circumstances (resolve in carrying out their mission)
- You may nominate more than one family. You may also nominate your own
- All screening of entries and determinaton of the fifteen (15) semifinalists will be done with DTI and Jollibee groups representatives
- The shortlisted top 15 semi-finalists will be composed of
- 10 Filipino families based locally
- 5 OFW families based locally and/or abroad
- Apart from the six (6) Grand Winners, the Board of Judges will also select five (5) families to receive Special Awards:
- Special Citation: Environment - Families whose members spearhead environmental programs or initiatives; or lead their communities in protecting and preserving the environment
- Special Citation: Education - Families offering learning opportunities to the underpriviledged or disadvantaged members of society as their personal advocacy; or families who uphold the importance of education and inspire others by persevering to excel despite challenges and obstacles
- Special Citation: Specific Stakeholders (Children) - Families whose advocacies further the welfare of particular groups
- Special Citation: Specific Stakeholders (PWDs) - Families whose advocacies further the welfare of particular groups
- Special Citation: Specific Stakeholders (Minority Groups) - Families whose advocacies further the welfare of particular groups
- Jollibee GCs are not transferable or convertible to cash
- All the winning families are required to attend the Grand Awarding Ceremony. No proxies are allowed to attend on your behalf, except for the winners in the OFW category
- For provincial/OFW winners, airfare (roundtrip tickets) will be shouldered by Jollibee and The Coca-Cola Corporation
- Jollibee will shoulder the twenty percent (20%) tax for prizes above P10,000
