I remember driving in go kart in Star Karting's previous location along the service road between Bicutan and Sucat. I thought they permanently closed down their shop but seems they only changed their location to Starmall Alabang. Last few weeks ago I got a chance to go on a joy ride on their new track. The new track location of City Kart is in the 3rd floor of Starmall Alabang. It conveniently located just beside the parking space. It's indoors so you can take their karts for a spin rain or shine.
The Karts are well maintained. Seats are sturdy without cracks, driving wheel smooth and solid, tires are thick and pedals are responsive to both gas and brakes. It was a smooth ride indeed. You will definitely notice the difference in the quality and maintenance of karts of City Kart compared to those of other karting places like Enchanted Kingdom.
The track is quite challenging for beginners like me. There are a few hairpins both left and right that really tests your ability to control the kart at the fastest speed possible. Although the concept of karting is to have a fast track record, I just can't resist intentionally drifting in those curves. It's just love the feeling of loosing the grip of the tires on the road and sliding my way through the curve. I feel like I'm in Super Mario Kart.
Carlos Lorenzo and Tao Alexander Zulberti are just 2 of the professional kart racers of City Kart Racing Team. We saw them give a demonstration of a drill race. Don't underestimate their age. They most likely will beat you in a 2 laps. Promo Mechanics:a Rafflecopter giveaway
