The camera appears to protrude from the back casing. I thought it was going to affect how the device levels when on a flat surface. But when I placed it on the table, it seems to level perfectly. My only concern is that the glass covering the camera might over time scratch from all the rubbing every time it's left on a surface especially if it's a rough surface.
The great thing about the Astroid Plus is that it's dual sim. You can probably compare it with Samsung Galaxy Y Duos which costs already about P6,000. Astroid Plus is only P3,000. You can actually buy it from Lazada.com.ph and have it shipped it for FREE
Since this is only an HVGA LCD, you would immediately notice the resolution difference compared to an iPad or iPhone. It's still vivid and colorful but you don't get that high pixel density that makes the image as clear as possible.
The phone comes pre-installed with some social networking apps, google apps, and a few games. The only thing I hate about pre-loaded apps is that it's difficult to remove or uninstall especially if you don't need it to start with.
The phone can only connect via GPRS only. 3G is not supported so if you will be using this as a phone to connect to your mobile data plan, you may experience sluggishness. Although if you are on prepaid and on limited data consumption, this is perfect because it won't eat up your data immediately. You can however connect via wifi though, as long as there’s wifi connection you can go online for free. Because the phone memory is small, you would probably depend on using the external SD card for storage. Some apps can't seem to save on the external SD card though so you may only get to install a limited amount of apps on your phone.
The RAM for me is just enough. It can run multiple apps at once. You can also play casual games like angry birds without any problems.
