1st PAGCOR Nat\'l Photography
Capture the unique facets of Filipino culture, the country's exotic natural resources, attractions, diverse fun activities, fiestas/festivals in a single shot and enter it in the 1st PAGCOR National Photography competition. With four (4) categories to choose from (People, Customs and Traditions, Nature, and Structures and Historical Landmarks), your entry should revolve around the theme: "It's More Fun In The Philippines". You can submit one (1) entry each in just two (2) categories so submit your best shot. A regional screening will be held in which a total of 48 finalists nationwide will move on and compete in the Grand Finals. Good news! There will be three (3) Grand Winners per category, each taking home P75,000 cash + trophy. Non-winners will also receive consolation prize worth P20,000 + certificate of merit each.
Contest Requirements:
- Open to all nationalities, provided that you are residing in the country for the whole contest duration
- At least 18 years old at the time of the official start of the contest
- Four (4) Categories:
- People - Portrait, human interest, genre or scenes from everyday life, and the like (photos of politicians are prohibited)
- Customs and Traditions - Festivals, celebrations, food, local icons and the like
- Nature - Travel destinations, flora & fauna, natural resources and/or attractions, landscapes, outdoor scenery, underwater photography and the like
- Structures and Historical Landmarks - Heritage sites, historical and architectural landmarks, etc. Note: Commercial buildings like malls are not allowed
- Theme: "It's More Fun In The Philippines"
- Entry Guidelines:
- Photographs should be able to capture the unique facets of Filipino culture, the country's exotic natural resources and attractions, diverse fun activities, fiestas/festivals, etc
- Should be able to depict the fun being experienced by anybody when exploring or traveling the Philippines
- The photograph can be taken using a digital or film camera. Scans of negatives, transparencies, or photographic prints are acceptable
- Must be 300 dpi, in JPEG or JPG format, and at least 1,600 pixels on one side (whether image is vertical or horizontal)
- Entries must be in full color. Photos in Black and White or Sepia are not allowed
- The entry to be submitted should have a corresponding "photo title" and "photo caption". The caption must indicate the place where the image was taken, and must have an accurate description of what the photo is about
- Entries must have been taken after the official launch and announcement of the contest
- Upload your entries upon completion of the 1st PAGCOR National Photography Competition online registration/entry form. Don't forget to attach a scanned 2x2 photo to the form

- You are allowed to submit only one (1) entry each in just two (2) categories
- Example: You can submit one (1) entry for People and one (1) entry for Nature but not two entries for People
- Sorting of the regional entries shall be strictly residency‐based
- Per regional screening, the panel of judges shall select the top 10 qualifiers for each of the four (4) categories. From there, the top 3 (per category) will be chosen and will move on to the Grand Finals. All in all, there will be a total of 48 Grand Finalists nationwide (12 per region)
- All Grand Finalists must have your qualifying photos printed for framing in 18 inches by 24 inches (portrait or landscape), with 300 dpi/high resolution
