To increase awareness on the importance of fiber in the diet and maintain a healthy digestive system, Novartis Consumer Health OTC Business Unit is holding a beverage recipe contest that will feature its new product Benefiber. Concoct a unique and nutritional beverage that incorporates Benefiber and you could take home P25K, P15K, P10K or P5k plus Benefiber gift packs.




Contest Requirements:

• Open to all Filipinos, male or female, age 18 years and above
• Buy a Benefiber 80g bottle or a Benefiber Box of 7s sachet

Contest Mechanics:

1. Create your own delectable Benefiber beverage which must contain all fresh and natural ingredients that are practical and readily available. Beverage entry should not contain any artificial sweeteners , Non-carbonated and Non-alcoholic. A serving of Benefiber should be mixed in the beverage
2. Participants may submit their entries starting via e-mail at otcmarketing@novartis.com with the following information:
• Name of beverage entry, Ingredients (indicate in grams the weight of each ingredient used and its cost), Preparation Instructions, Contestant’s Name, Age, Address, Phone/Mobile number and Photo in jpeg file of the actual beverage preparation
• Each entry should be accompanied by a scanned copy of the Official Receipt of Benefiber as proof of purchase (1 entry is equivalent to a single purchase of Benefiber 80g bottle or a single purchase of Benefiber Box of 7s sachet)
• Sharing of Official Receipt for different entries is NOT allowed
3. Judging will be based on the use of all fresh and natural ingredients , fiber content, nutritional value, palatability, visual appeal , creativity, originality and ease of preparation
4. Participants may submit as many entries as they want but can only win once
5. Judging of qualified entries will be on December 06 and 07, 2009. Judges’ decision is final
6. Winning entries will be informed via phone and registered mail on December 08, 2009. Awarding of entries will be on December 15, 2009 at Chef Laudico Bistro Filipino at The Fort. All winners must present at least two (2) valid identification documents before they can claim their prize.
7. Only entries submitted in accordance with these mechanics will be eligible in winning the contest.
